Music from around the world

Group of musicians smashing a guitar

From theatre to music

Since the creation of the Prothélan troupe, the Music from around the world group has been accompanying the performances of the LEA department’s multilingual theatre project Prothélan. Whether the actors perform in English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Alsatian or French, the musical interludes will give the audience an insight into the emotions conveyed by the play. One must simply be carried away by the voices, guitars, violins and drums. The multiple languages and cultures embodied in these projects also represent the diversity of the profiles of LEA students. This musical performance is a veritable translation of that fact.

A concert for a graduation ceremony

The students know how to be proactive and they are proving it. The participants in the World Music project would like to animate the graduation ceremony for the LEA students. This ceremony, modelled on the American system, would be a testimony of the commitment of the students, as well as of the links that exist between year groups  and with the teachers. However, the members of this project need additional support to make this idea of a graduation concert into a reality. So, if you play an instrument and want to share your talent, join the adventure!
