Once they have arrived in the host country and their suitcases have been unpacked, many students tend to forget that they still have some administrative work to complete for their home university. This project aims to maintain the links between the University of Strasbourg and students who have left as part of mobility programmes, such as Erasmus+.
Providing answers through stories from abroad
By sharing stories of their trip abroad, these LEA students encourage their classmates who are reluctant to undertake such an adventure. This is an opportunity for them to share their experiences and highlight the solutions found to the problems encountered both in their administrative procedures and their integration in the country. This practical information will address the questions and concerns of the students wishing to go abroad. It will also allow them to anticipate situations they did not think about.
Speaking out to encourage people to go abroad
From the University of Strasbourg, the students in charge of this project will collect the testimonies of those who have left. A detailed questionnaire on their time abroad will be written, to identify as much practical information as possible about Erasmus+ or other programmes. Through stories, videos or photos, these stories will be available to all LEA students wishing to obtain up-to-date information about their destination. Other actions to reinforce the links between the University of Strasbourg and students going abroad could also be proposed by the students involved in this project.
